I provide a unique blend of skill-sets and experience to help individuals, whether they are seeking more peace and tranquility within their inner world, satisfying relationships or achieving personal goals.

My counselling sessions will help you deal with and overcome the challenges in your life and make the changes you want to make that may be holding you back from living the life you desire. I can help with difficulties such as relationships, the loss of a loved one or help you cope and move on through life. Together we can determine what you can and cannot change and explore the choices that are available.

INDIVIDUAL COUNSELLING - CHANGE IS POSSIBLE

Sometimes, life can get a little tough and we may speak to our friends and family for support, or we can seek counselling.

Individual counselling provides a safe, caring and confidential space to explore your feelings, beliefs or behaviours or to talk about any concerns you may have in your life. You will be supported and encouraged throughout the full process in a non-judgemental environment to help you better understand and cope more easily with some of your challenges, including various ways to manage your emotions, make sense of your feelings and bring some insight and clarity into your circumstances. Sometimes a fresh perspective or a shift in thinking maybe the reason to change. Counselling can also overcome the barriers that have been holding you back from living the life you desire.

NDIS COUNSELLING

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a national scheme that provides funding for individuals with physical, intellectual and psycho-social disabilities to have the support necessary to realise their full potential, to accomplish personal goals, enhance the quality of life and to engage within the community.

WHAT I BELIEVE

I aim to bring sensitivity, clarity, warmth and humour to my work. I believe in responsibility and self-determination. I also believe that people can change throughout their lives and that all individuals have inner resources and personal strengths that can be used during difficult times. Sometimes in the face of hardship, many people manage to find a deeper meaning and purpose that leads to personal growth and a greater fulfillment within life.

Some individuals use counselling as a means to improve their lives to develop their potential through Personal Growth and Development, Improving Self-Esteem and Life Transitions and Choices.

MY COUNSELLING APPROACH

There are various ways of approaching counselling. I believe that every individual has their own set of unique circumstances. I want to listen as you tell your story, your hopes and the changes you want to make in your life.

We may work on some assessments to determine your personal strengths and skills, as well as assessing your stress levels and mood.

I aim to support you within the counselling process, assist you and gain your trust in working together to accomplish what you want in your life or to provide with you with the tools to continue independently.

I use many counselling theories and methods that are chosen in accordance with your particular needs and situations.

Integrative therapy involves the person as a whole: the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical aspects of the person’s well-being. I believe this plays a vital role in your wellness.
